yay me!

this is a copy of an old post from my old blog (efx2 which then became efx2blogs). in the end, the final incarnation (efx2blogs) went down one too many times for me, so i switched to blogger. i was able to recover most of my older stuff (efx2) from archive.org. some smilies, graphics, and/or links may be missing, but you get the idea.

a list of the good things that have been happening to me lately:

1. there is a certain co-worker whose intelligence i admire quite a bit. after hours the other day, he comes up here and says "you know, the more i think about it, i think the sum of all vectors IS c" i, of course, looked at him like he was on something. we then began this in-depth physics discussion which involved the speed of light, vectors, time, etc. at some point my boss walked in and i said something to effect that said co-worker was intentionally trying to fry my brain to which my boss said that i should feel special that he was even having the converstaion with me. when asked why, my boss said because normally he (the co-worker) doesn't waste his time on people. i asked him "is this true?" and he said yes, indeed, it is. he says that it would take too long to explain what he's trying to say to most people so he just keeps it to himself, but he knows that i will follow, so he talks to me. *sniff* i got a compliment on my intelligence from a smart guy!


2. peace has returned to my house. we were able to do it this time without things getting more out of hand than they already were, which is a good thing.


3. another co-worker of mine gave me a present today. he gave me a hand crafted paddle. *doing a happy dance* i got a present! nah nah nah nah! i got a present! nah nah nah nah nah!


let's recap, shall we? i'm happy because i had an intelligent conversation, my home life is all nice and peaceful and i was given the gift of a paddle.


what can i say? that's me in all my mixed up martha stewart with a strap-on glory. i cook, bake, craft, i'm smart, i have tattoos, and when i wanna be, i'm a sexy vixen with really cool toys.
